Here the news about....Quiz TMC MP

Quiz TMC MP over Saradhaby cbi

Gupta's role surfaced in the Saradha muddle after investigators started digging into around 3 lakh bank transactions of the Ponzi firm. It was found that Saradha was making regular payments to a number of printing press. Investigators found that Sudipta Sen was making regular payments to one of the printing press-Saraswati Print Factory. "Sometimes the payments were in lakh and sometimes in crores," said an investigator. What surprised the investigators more was was more surprising to investigators the fact that there were multiple payments in small tranche to Gupta. According to investigators the Saradha kingpin had the habit of making payments below Rs 2 lakh to avoid any possible surveillance. "If it was a big amount, then he would make multiple payments," the official said.

Later in his tell-all letter suspended TMC MP Kunal Ghosh wrote that Gupta used to get large printing orders from the Saradha group. Ghosh's statement further consolidated the investigators' hunch before they stumbled upon direct payments made to Gupta. According to sources, there were several bank transfers to Vivek Gupta during 2012 and 2013 from Saradha accounts. While Vivek Gupta's name does not appear in the director's list of Saraswati Print Factory at present, at least one of the directors of the company is co-director with Gupta in another company. Another director of the Saraswati Print Factory is an additional director of a real estate company which allegedly received payments from the Saradha group.

Gupta was interrogated by the Enforcement Directorate several times last year. While Gupta could not be reached for comments, sources said that during interrogation he claimed that he was not involved with the Saradha Group. One of the companies with which he was linked through other directors received orders for Saradha's printing works. While Sudipta had paying several printing press for the purpose, CBI investigators now want to know why he was receiving payments in his accounts from the Saradha group.
